Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper examines an architectural element recently recovered in Malta at the Ta 'Qali site. This is probably a crowning achievement of epitymbion, a type of funerary sema known and attested in the Alexandrian area and in Sicily. In particular, the artefact in question is inspired, on a smaller scale, by the model of the "turriform" mausoleums of North African ambit
