Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The study presents and catalogs a batch of 26 coins from the Maltese National Numismatic Collection, contained - at least until ten years ago - in an envelope containing the handwritten indication: "The Gallic Empire / Tetricus II / 1930/19502". The composition of the nest egg is actually much more variegated, since there were also nìmonete for Claudio II divo (official and imitation) and radiated imitations of Gallic emperors, so that it could be compared with the surviving part of a storage room found on the island of Gozo in 1937. In the appendix an isolated mineta of imitation is discussed, with a probable origin from the tomb n. 2 located in Victoria,
