Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The issue of public agencies as an institutional and organizational model for the public administration presents two salient features: first of all, it is not a recent phenomenon, secondly, the phenomenon is characterized by the use of heterogeneity. The contribution exposes the traits assumed by the phenomenon in five significant national experiences.
