Un display per ascoltare. Gli SMS nella relazione d'aiuto

[Autom. eng. transl.] Is it possible to start and maintain a help relationship via SMS? This is the question to which this text tries to answer: starting from the experience realized by a listening service for adolescents activated by the ASL of Lecco, the book studies from a psycho-social perspective the communication mediated by text messages sent via mobile phone. Ample space is devoted to the study of this form of communication, to the innovations introduced with respect to face-to-face communication, with particular attention to the concept of rarefaction of subjectivity. The basic principles of the theory relating to the development and maintenance of the helping relationship addressed to adolescents are then outlined. These two theoretical souls will serve as foundations for studying the practice of responding to the needs of adolescents who choose to "communicate themselves" through these textual messages, to highlight their lights and shadows, constraints and possibilities.
