Abstract

Paolo Pecorari published, in the 'Collana di studi e testi' by the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, the correspondence between Giuseppe Toniolo and Luigi Luzzati. The volume enhances new sources to study in depth the ideas and acts of Toniolo, who was one of the main protagonists in the history of the Catholic movement. The introduction to the volume is very important and large; it represents a sort of well-documented and updated biography of Toniolo. The volume stands out for its very rich and well-structured notes, which allow a deeper interpretation of the correspondence.
