Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Oidium is one of the most common fungal diseases of the vine. The deepening of the knowledge of the biological cycle of the causal agent, Erisyphe necator, is extremely important for the management of phytosanitary emergencies. Numerous models that describe parts of the life cycle of the pathogen have been developed by scholars around the world, but to date a model that considers the cycle in its total integrity has not yet been proposed. From the interest of filling this gap a general model on the biological cycle of Erisyphe necator was developed.
