Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] On the occasion of the centenary of the foundation of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, the series The words of the future proposes the key concepts for thinking about our society today, composing an interpretative lexicon that is also a guide for tomorrow. Each of the volumes is edited by one of the twelve Faculties of the University, presents a reflection that arises from the teaching and research experience that is its own, and takes shape in a close intellectual dialogue between the teachers who are part of it. All volumes combine the vocation to a knowledge on a human scale with an openness to the novelties of history: an approach that has constituted the identity of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart since its foundation. The series is aimed at the entire scientific and academic community, inviting everyone to write The Words of the Future together.
