Abstract

The reward system is crucial for individuals’ life and survival, species’ preservation, and the evolution of animals and humans. Individuals are motivated to repeat actions that maximize their chances of survival and reproductive success by the sensations of pleasure gained from earning a reward and satisfying a need.
