Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The idea of this book was born working with operators and researchers, pioneers in applying the concept of resilience, in contexts of vulnerability and emergency, where we have to deal with dangers, pains, joys and hopes and a process of recovery. The interest in children and situations that risk interrupting their development and having consequences on their mental health has led to the need to develop intervention techniques and programs designed to help them deal in the best possible way with the results of traumatizing situations and adversity experienced. This guide is in line with this objective; the authors of the various chapters have conceived it as a source of ideas and tools made available for psychosocial and educational work inspired by the prospect of resilience and the practices that, in recent years, have been validated by the Talent Factory ! of the Catholic University of Milan. In particular the different chapters are dedicated to the presentation of a wide range of intervention strategies applied in different post-emergency situations recently occurred in Italy (Molise, Abruzzo, Emilia and Lombardy) and abroad (Sri Lanka, Haiti, Chile , Mozambique), where professors and students of the master's degree in "Assistant Relations in National and International Vulnerability and Poverty Contexts" operate in the Faculty of Education.
