Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Tourism 4.0 explores, in three macro-sections, the economic, social, linguistic and entrepreneurial implications of territorial tourism. The first part collects various essays dealing with the history of tourism in the contemporary age. In the second and third, which give the volume a multidisciplinary slant, there is space for the research of linguists, sociologists, experts in marketing and business sciences. With these pages we intend to give further and effective development to study, research and training initiatives that the Brescia branch of the Catholic University, also through the Faculty of Linguistic Sciences and Foreign Literature and the Department of Historical and Philological Sciences, has promoted. and is promoting with reference to territorial tourism characterized by a very strong international vocation. In the same way, the volume aims to feed, with innovative contents, the relationship, also in terms of the Third Mission, with the institutional subjects of the territory involved for some time through the Catholic tourism service.
