Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In this period, at a European level, there is much discussion about how the new stability pact should be set up. Without going into technical details, it seems interesting to focus on three different aspects useful for understanding the terms of the discussion and, more generally, the role of macroeconomic policy in the process of consolidating public finances.
