Abstract
Bibliographical note on the publication of the English anthology Translation: Theory and Practice. A Historical Reader. The latter follows a mainly chronological, and partly thematic order and features a cross-section of genres and countries (prefaces, essays, dictionary entries, correspondence, lecture transcripts, interviews, short stories and novels), shedding light on both translation practices and theoretical approaches in their development from Antiquity to the present day.
