Mirella Agorni

Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

The volume offers a historical analysis of the role played by translation in that complex redefinition of cultural identity that was taking place in Britain in the second half of the Eighteenth century. It investigates the ways in which translation activities lay at the basis of the Romantic interest in Italy which will emerge at the end of the century.
