Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] A participant in the Constantinopolitan ecclesiastical tradition, in its Slavic declination, and inserted in the cultural circulation conveyed by the Slavonian language, the Romanian people in Transylvania have found in these aspects of their ethnic and religious reality decisive factors which, in addition to saving their Orthodox faith in front to Protestant pressures, they have protected the cultural and linguistic specificity with respect to the attractive force of the hegemonic components of the voivodship, namely the native Hungarica and the universitas Saxonum.
