Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In the social field, attention is increasingly being paid to practices aimed at promoting the participation of service users in aid projects or interventions. The volume proposes a reflection on this theme in a complex area such as that of child protection: that is, it questions how the participation of users - families, children and young people - can change the relationship with operators and influence the methods and, perhaps, even about the objectives of their work. In the three parts that make up the text, the authors focus on the role that the participation of patients plays in the organization of services, in the planning of interventions and in situations that have specific needs or in innovative educational support projects. The intention is to urge professionals in the sector to continue research and experiment with new practices oriented towards participation, which represents a challenge but above all a resource: only if their point of view and skills are recognized, in fact, the person in difficulty it can become the protagonist of a path of awareness and growth.
