Furthermore, the relevance of the comparative study carried out by the French author towards the history of "European televisions" is highlighted, crossed transversely by the persistence of some myths that have conditioned its design: the "techno-ideological myth", the “Myth of control”, the “pedagogical myth” and the “myth of the audience”.
