Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay reconstructs, on the basis of unpublished documentation, the frequentation by characters from the world of culture and politics of the Trivulzio museum, located in Piazza S. Alessandro in Milan, in the decades between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Particular reference is made to the activity of archaeologist and bibliophile carried out by Don Carlo Trivulzio (1715-1789) and to the relationships established by them in the European context during the definition of his museum
