Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper aims to analyze the translation that at the end of the seventeenth century F. Nodot, in his Petronian plagiarism rewarded by a large public success, gave the "Troiae Halosis", emphasizing the most remarkable rhetorical procedures of the poetic insert.
