Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Within the examination offered by the exhibition on the Italian encyclopedic collections between the sixteenth and the seventeenth centuries, a historical reconstruction of the collection of the Milanese Manfredo Settala (1600-1680) is offered, paying particular attention to its cultural formation and to the relationships woven with other scholars and scientists of the peninsula with particular reference to the centers of the Grand Ducal Tuscany
