Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The pandemic has acted on us like a vessel which, while preventing the liquid it contains from flowing, at the same time ends up giving it an effective and recognizable shape - so much so that liquidity can be taken as a metaphor for what should remain, even of facing the growing dematerializing capacity of technology, the substance of human physis. As always happens, what comes into prolonged contact with our humanity inevitably tends to become a condition of our existence, even when it presents itself as an impediment or obstacle. In short, that of the arrest is only an impression that hides a life of which we need to become aware, so as not to transform what we have suffered passively due to the virus into something actively chosen, if only for repetition, comfort, inertia. and habit. Hence the need - emerged in many ways but always implicitly - to think and outline an ethic of pandemic sovereignty at the crossroads of a pair of words, often proposed as if it constituted a single body, but which philosophically instead needs to be broken : emergency and exception.
