Abstract

Tibaldo Bondi is a young boy who would like to celebrate his own birthday on October the 10th, 1582. Because of the gradual slipping of Easter and Equinoxes out of their own seasons, Pope Gregory XIII decides to transform Caesar's calendar and to delete ten days from it. Unfortunately, Tibaldo's birthday is on one of these days! Determined to fight this terrible fact, Tibaldo manages to meet the Pope and to express his own reasons.
