After 50 years devoted to the advancement of Arabic Lexicography and the publication of five volumes in the "Wörterbuch der klassichen arabischen Sprache", Manfred Ullmann summarizes his experience in this field. "Theorie und Praxis der arabischen Lexikographie" is a precious guide to an often neglected subject and at the same time a stirring legacy for the future.
