Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The objective of this study is to analyze the possible existence of orality marks in the writing contained in the pre-Columbian Mayan codices. It is known from colonial narratives that these documents were sometimes read aloud publicly, so that the entire community could know their content. Due to the existence of a strong oral tradition in the Mayan area, the possibility arises that, within the textual content of the codices, oral resources can be identified, used in order to facilitate the understanding of the text by the public assistant and his memorization by those in charge of public representations.
