Abstract
In fitness and sports centres all over Europe high-quality services are provided to promote health and well-being. The industry also has economic significance. Despite the increasing number of customers, growing industry revenue, and number of providers, many providers face a central problem: high customer fluctuation specifically. The solution for this problem seems to improve the knowledge, skills and competences of fitness professionals for increase the achievment of customers’ goal. The curricular internship should be designed to connect the academic knowledge with the necessary competence needed in this important economic and professional sector.
