Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The text considers the path of negative or apophatic theology already in the philosophers of Greek philosophy, in particular in Philo, in Albino and in the neo-Pythagoreans. We examine the reflection of the Fathers: of the Cappadocians, of Augustine and of Dionysius. we then move on to the Middle Ages in particular Eckhart, the Theologia Deutsch and Nicola di Cusa. Finally the thought of John of the Cross and of Thomas of Jesus is highlighted.
