Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The book establishes a new area of research and intervention in the field of Media Education and social work and prevention. In an increasingly technologized society, the digital divide becomes a form of exclusion and denial of citizenship: the elderly, the inhabitants of the suburbs, the migrants are subject to it. Developing digital skills thus becomes an inescapable objective of public policies. What the Community Technologies approach argues is that this technical intervention can become an opportunity for building bonds, re-building the community, freeing up the resources and energies of a territory. The book shows the theoretical genesis, the methodological profile and some first possible applications of this approach.
