Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This work analyzes the impact of the adoption of technology on occupations and workers in Italy at the time of Covid-19. The first part describes the complex relationship between technological progress, work and inequalities, highlighting that technology does not destroy work, but transforms it. The second part examines how the current pandemic crisis is affecting the effects of technology on work in our country. It is clarified that the Covid-19 emergency has accelerated the use of new digital technologies, allowing many sectors of society and the economy to limit both the risks to public health and the recessionary effects associated with the suspension of economic activities.
