Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In the Spanish panorama of the second half of the twentieth century, Monsignor Enrique y Tarancón has been one of the most relevant ecclesiastical figures. However, historiography has given it an "asymmetric" attention. His teaching and ecclesial (or political) action during the years of the Transition have been analyzed, but some moments of his biography have been left in the shade; especially the years in which the future Cardinal of Change was a young bishop of a Catalan peripheral diocese: Solsona
