[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume contains the proceedings of the XXXVII AIDEA Conference, focused on the analysis of the role and perspective of the corporate economy in relation to the development, sustainability and competitiveness of companies, as a branch of the economy represented by knowledge, skills and abilities that allow companies of all kinds, public and private, small and large, to generate development through competition for improvement, ensuring conditions of economic, environmental and social sustainability in the long term. These three dimensions are analyzed and discussed in different perspectives dictated by the approximately 140 papers presented in over 40 sessions and by the comparison between academics and representatives of the business world and public administrations.
