Sviluppo, formazione e giustizia eco-sociale. Accurate: progetto di rilevanza strategica, tra percezione e sostenibilità

[Autom. eng. transl.] In interpreting the ethical-political dimensions of sustainability, the challenge of human development calls into question, in a regulatory way, social justice as a horizon of meaning for an active and effective welfare. If the human factor is recognized today as a fundamental driver of any innovative process, it is nevertheless necessary to highlight that in the environmental field it is an architect still underestimated in its responsibility and in its generativity. Both the difference between the perception and reality of ecological emergencies and the dominant culture that almost exclusively entrusts technology with the solution of every environmental problem reveal this. Pedagogical reflection is called to question the people, in particular the most vulnerable, exposed today to the greatest risks of environmental poverty, raising the challenge level of social justice on the relationship between training to prevent and reduce risks and policies to protect individuals and territories. This holds a possibility, both of openness, of transformation and of life, as of disengagement, neglect and death. Accurate, a research project of strategic importance of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, involves citizens, administrators and stakeholders in a participatory way, with reference to the perception of the environmental impacts associated with climate change for lake municipalities, with the aim of increasing awareness of the local communities regarding the need for adaptation plans to climate change.
