Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article identifies the strategies with which small businesses, even in the Brazilian context, can benefit in terms of competitive advantage and profitability results through sustainability-oriented strategies. The second part identifies the main actions that an association, such as the SEBRAE, can put in place to encourage these policies in MSME (micro and small businesses).
