Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Numerous studies consider "emerging risk" to be the possible synergy between exposure to noise and to ototoxic substances in the workplace. In 2022 the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), in 2006 the European Risk Observatory Report NOise in Figures published by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), in 2010 the Combined exposure to Noise Report and Ototoxic Substance always of the EU-OSHA, the same directive 2003/10 / CE relative to the exposure of the workers to the risks deriving from the physical agents (noise) have evidenced in a very incisive way this relationship.
