Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This is an interview in which the author. reconstructs the reasons for the end of Christian Democracy and analyzes the cultural and political characteristics of the so-called democratic Catholicism. The text also investigates the contributions that the exponents of this political culture gave to the birth of the Italian Constitution during the work of the Constituent Assembly.
