Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] On 25 October 2021, a military coup overthrew the regime led by Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok (1956-), resettled because he had officially agreed to collaborate with the army and resigned on 2 January 2022 (Ansa, 2/1/2022) . The government was dissolved, other ministers arrested, and a state of emergency was declared by the military junta led by General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan (1960-) who proclaimed himself president.
