Successful Tolerance Induction to Spiramycin in Pregnancy

Abstract

We report the cases of 2 pregnant patients, suffering from Toxoplasmosis, who developed an erythematous, maculopapular rash during Spiramycin therapy that disappeared with discontinuation of the drug. The 2 patient underwent a tolerance induction protocol with Spiramycin and were able to continue therapy with this drug until the end of their pregnancies, with no side-effects
