Moving from Simon's disruptive reflections on the subject of limited rationality and capitalizing on the contributions of cognitive and socio-cognitive psychological research, on the contribution of literature on managerial and organizational cognition and on the stimuli offered by recent behavioral developments in the studies of strategy, this volume deals with the study of cognitive representations of strategic decision makers focusing on cause mapping as a primary methodology for the elitation and analysis of the strategic management system of top management.
