Abstract
The anniversary of the Croatian periodical is presented in the light of the relationship between medieval history and the history of art, with reference to the Italian and international production of the last quarter of a century; novelty, potential and limits of a not always smooth scientific dialectic are the framework for the analysis of the research paths that have characterized the Dalmatian magazine.
