Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This is a review of the book by Stefania CARLI, Gothic Novel and tradition noire: a new investigation perspective. The study hypothesis was the possibility and the need to question the thesis that the French roman noir was the result of the influence of the English gothic novel.
