[Autom. eng. transl.] The working well-being has recently acquired an increasing importance in the scientific and regulatory field. Legislative Decree 81/08, recalling the European agreement of 8 October 2004, has focused attention on such a complex subject, making the analysis of the level of well-being of professionals and the possible actions of improvement. Different research works have investigated, at national and international level, the construct of demotivation to work and its possible implications. However, in the Italian context, the number of studies devoted to understanding the well-being of educators and teachers working in the pre-school area is reduced. The present research-action project is part of this, carried out by the Center for Studies and Research on Disability and Marginality of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, in collaboration with Gemeaz Elior, in its division of educational services for early childhood. The purpose of the survey was to identify the level of individual well-being of 98 professionals serving within the network of nests and to identify possible strategies for organizational improvement, specific to each structure. The study, also on the basis of the identification of training needs, favored reflection on the development of ad hoc pedagogical interventions, supporting care work in the 0-3 age group.
