[Autom. eng. transl.] This book deals with a topic of great interest in the current context: the management of complex relations between the company and stakeholders. In this regard, the present text distances itself from an attention to stakeholders, the result of an ethical orientation of the management, but proposes a management of relations that concerns the strategy of a company and its productive mission which, inevitably, is based on interaction with a multiplicity of subjects. The development of stakeholder management systems is not without difficulties and managerial challenges. In the first part, this text aims to provide initial answers to some typical questions related to the adoption of a stakeholder management system such as: How is it possible to identify the stakeholders with whom to talk? What are the most effective strategies for developing relationships with stakeholders? Which tools should be used towards each of them and in which situations? How can you interact with stakeholders who are aggressive? And with those reticent to dialogue? And with those who try to impose their opinion? In the second part of the volume, the management of the relationship with stakeholders is resumed illustrating the results of three researches. A first survey focused on the relationship between commitment in stakeholder management and company performance and the role that the institutional context of reference plays in this relationship. A second research around the process of adapting stakeholder management systems to emerging needs in various international contexts in which companies operate. A final analysis related to the impact that stakeholder management systems can have on information systems and on the voluntary reporting of companies.
