Abstract
“Wrongful” life claims are suits brought on behalf of impaired child against the doctor who negligently failed to diagnose or inform the parents about potential birth defects. The Author addresses the issue through a comparative research crossing the U.S.A. and the most important European legal systems. He puts his attention on difficulties faced by different Courts in framing the action in civil liability, regarding injury, causation and damages.
