Abstract
The study traces the manuscript circulation and the first printing of the works of Sperone Speroni. It offers a catalogue of his autographs preserved in Libraries and Archives around the world, accompanied by nine photographical reproductions extracted from the author’s main works. A paleographical note by Antonio Ciaralli analyses the changing characteristics of Speroni’s handwriting along his life. A bibliography closes the study.
