Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution intends to focus on the interest in art shown in the German-language periodical "Der Bote vom Gardasee", published on the Brescia coast of Lake Garda between 1900 and 1914, in a dual perspective, promotional and creative. The Garda is presented by the newspaper as a 'treasure chest' of artistic treasures, but it is above all a source of inspiration for painters from the north as it is perceived as a work of art.
