Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The current global crisis leads us to reflect, with a renewed outlook, on the issue of citizenship, because a secondary part of the future of societies and of the civil and political culture of Western countries is played on it. This volume addresses this issue in an interdisciplinary way, exploiting the potential of geographical, historical and pedagogical discourse: citizenship is, in fact, the result of an experience that matures over time and in space to then be transmitted to others; in this way, places, history and culture are resources for its construction and its representation. Organized in two sections, the volume puts into dialogue, in its first part, the disciplines (geography and history), teaching and pedagogy, highlighting the contributions and mutual connections; in the second part there are some educational courses for kindergarten and primary schools that offer examples related to the Lombard reality (in particular Brescia and Milan), the result of the interdisciplinary dialogue of the first section.
