Spatial entrepreneurial competition

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingEntry for encyclopedia/dictionary

Abstract

We use the term “spatial competition models” to indicate the class of models in which space plays a central role in determining the result of the interaction between economic agents (Colombo, 2020). This entry focuses on the partial equilibrium spatial competition model introduced by Hotelling (1929), while leaving aside other kinds of partial equilibrium models and those rooted in the general equilibrium theory
