[Autom. eng. transl.] Sustainability, responsibility, dignity: words that inhabit the current socio-political debate but that are often not understood and lived to the full. Along the process of innovation and, sometimes, restoration of the working sector, the uncomfortable ecological issues and the geographical and political transformations linked to the human-environment fracture are the subject of growing but often fleeting and superficial collective attention. Thus, the concept of sustainability frequently turns into a 'green wash' process of the usual habits; the idea of responsibility becomes a sterile application of laws and regulations and not a set of orientation values for practical actions; finally, human dignity is also often trampled on by other economic and financial priorities, thus creating dehumanizing situations. In this way, work does not fulfill its most noble vocation: to be the source of a full development of human and social capital.
