Abstract

Antonio Rubino (1880-1964), whose name is strongly linked to periodicals for children of the beginning of the XX Century, was a famous writer for young readers. Despite his art is characterized by a high versatility both of genre and communication channels, the origin of this artistic vocation is rooted in the lyrical expression. The article illustrates the poetical origin of the rubinian art by means of the first publications in verses of the author.
