Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The prospect of educational success implies a commitment horizon that goes beyond mere educational success by integrating it into the child's overall maturation process: educational success is an objective and a good for the whole society, jointly responsible for achieving it. In this context, particular attention must be paid to the third sector which, in various forms, puts into practice concrete actions to support the study and accompany the growth of children characterized by gratuitousness. The specificity of these services leads the students to question themselves about the sense of commitment of the volunteers and this question can be the beginning of a surprising personal journey of change in the conception of oneself and one's future. The volume proposes an integrated reading of the topic of educational success and offers an in-depth analysis on the issues of school support and volunteering, starting from a recent survey carried out by the Center for Studies and Research on Education Policies of the Catholic University (CeRiForm) in collaboration with the Portofranco Milan Association. From the research, development perspectives and paths emerge for the improvement of the integrated actions between school, family and out-of-school aimed at the achievement of educational success by all students.
