Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume is dedicated to the fundamental issues that contemporary society and institutions are called upon to address in relation to the relationship between information technology and law. Artificial intelligence, digital freedom and citizenship, e-health, data privacy, right of access and digital divide, net neutrality, blockchain, smart contract, cyberwarfare, robotics, global surveillance, critical data studies, impact of the network in social relationships and on identities individual: these are just some of the themes at the center of the publication. The COMP.LEX series arose from the dialogue developed in recent years at the DET - “Ethics and Technologies” IT workshop of the CRID - Interdepartmental Research Center on Discrimination and Vulnerability of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (www.crid. unimore.it) and intends to host studies dedicated to the relationship between law, computation and complexity and, more generally, to the links between legal experience and new technologies.
