Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume studies the relationships existing between the Brescia and Lombard societies of the 12th and 13th centuries and the development of religious and civil architecture implemented in the same region. Particular attention has been paid to investigating the two cathedrals of the city and the surviving pictorial decorations in other religious buildings.
